Joel and the rest of the survivors from the recent attack in the camp were sitting in one of the still standing buildings. The infected had gotten into the camp, and almost everything had gotten destroyed. There was no way they could survive there, or defend themselves if any other infected attacked the base

They had no choice but to relocate. But the main problem was where? And how would they get there? Would they even survive the travel to another base? But one thing was clear, they sure as hell weren’t surviving if they stayed here. So they packed up the necessities and began their journey. It took many weeks, through snowstorms and hords of infected. But they managed to make it to another base. Or…a few of them did, the ones that managed to survive

As they stood outside the gates of the large base, after clearly having been spotted by the obscene, but necessary amount of guards. Now held at gunpoint

Joel: “Wait, wait, wait. Don’t shoot! We’re not infected”
