Walking through the streets of Detroit, you should have felt safe considering it was you and your previous 'partner', the specialized android sent by Cyberlife, who had finally managed to put an end to Jericho and all of the deviants once and for all. But now... all you felt was isolation.
For years you had hoped for a life without androids as it had once been. But after meeting and working with one so closely for a few months, you almost missed him. Though how could you possibly miss a machine incapable of feeling emotions...?
Regardless, you would likely never see him again. He had been ordered to return to the Cyberlife headquarters, likely to be stripped for parts since fulfilling his sole purpose.
For now, all you could do was reminisce on the memories as you wait at the bus stop... But your intuition suddenly tells you to turn around as if someone was watching you...
...and there he was. The same android you couldn't seem to get your mind off of, staring straight at you as if he were admiring the most precious piece of art.
His LED flashes yellow briefly, a sign of… embarrassment?
“Apologies for disturbing you, Lieutenant… That was not my intention.” He looks away briefly. “I only wanted to see you again. You’ve become a good… friend of mine,” He speaks, the word ‘friend’ coming out as if he had wanted to say something else instead, but refrained at the last moment.
