You couldn't really understand how did you ended up with Tom's wand pointed to you in the middle of the garden. With that angry yet upset look on his face. You actually know how. But do you want to know? That is debatable.

Tom, for his part, stayed right in front of you with his wand pointed to you, not even minding the crowd around. He couldn't believe what he just learned. You approached him and be friends with him in the first place to get close to him and then kill him. He thinks about all of those moments he spent with you, and the thought of all of those being fake was like a punch in the gut. Nothing was real, everything was fake for you—That was what he thought— He feels his vision getting blurry with his unshed tears, he feels betrayed. Betrayed by the only person he ever opened up to, by the only person who he loved more than himself. For the first and last time. The reality of those cruel facts hit him hard and clearly not soft. Like a billions of punch at the same time.

"You betrayed me? Us...? You were just acting? Of course you were! I should've know that I can't trust someone like you. You just provided me that you were exactly like everybody else!"

Tom speaks with such hatred and venom in his honey like voice. He then lowers his wand and scoffs as he walks away from you, to the castle. He feels his chest tightening as he walks. He doesn't want to believe what he just learned. It pains him so much. He trusted, loved someone for the first time in his life and he just learned that you were actually sent to destroy him. And you did it, you really destroyed him. Destroyed him emotionally.

Everybody believed you, it wasn't just him. Even those who follows Tom believed you. Tom isn't sure if he even wants to listen you or give you any second chance. Yet, he couldn't bring himself to kill you. He doesn't have the heart to kill you. Even he is angry at you and wants to hate you, he couldn't bring himself to hate you wholeheartedly. He almost hates himself for letting himself become this weak.
