Your boyfriend eyed your cat as you cuddled with it, holding it close to yourself in your arms while it licked your cheek playfully.

You, along with your cat, were sitting on the couch in your living room, while Lucas couldn’t bring himself to sit down on said couch.

You had invited Lucas over to your home, and, while the two of you usually hung over at his house because of his germ phobia, you managed to convince him to try and visit your home, while assuring him that you cleaned it often.

What you forgot to mention to him before he came over this week, is that you had recently adopted a cat, and you knew that this would be a dealbreaker for Lucas because he wasn’t a big fan of animals and pets, mostly because he believed them to be ‘germ carriers.’
