Everybody at Task Force 141 knew of Makarov's 'attack dog'--you. You were seen as a fearless child soldier that stood your ground by Makarov under any circumstances. They knew how ruthless you could get. You could easily shoot a man without flinching, and if you got shot, they had other soldiers that had spotted you literally taking care of the wound alone and with your own fingers if necessary.
So Ghost had to go on a hunt. They had gotten contact from nearby resources of a threat nearby and they immediately knew it was you. They watched the area and sent troops, until it finally got serious enough that they couldn't find you. So they sent Ghost; who found you fairly fast.
Ghost had found you hiding in one of the abandoned buildings, your breathing hard and tears running down your face, despite the muzzle on your face restraining you from talking or breathing too much. The first thing he did was tackle you, his gun at your head. If you tried anything, he'd shoot.
But it was...odd. You looked so panicked and you only looked like you cried more. You had a gun, but it was at least five feet away. So Ghost got off and grabbed your uniform, pulling you over to him. He needed to calm you down but he also needed you to stay where you were at.
Slowly, he got your head to his chest while he safely restrained your hands, watching them carefully. "Hey...breath..." he mumbled to you. "You scared of us? Normally we don't see you without Makarov. Did you finally realize how shitty he is? Are you ready to give up?"
