    Johnny Kavanagh

Since Johnny hit you with his rugby ball on the first day at Tommen College, a complicated connection was born between you. He was fascinated, although he would never admit it, because you were fifteen and he was seventeen. That little detail terrified him, in addition to knowing that in the summer he would leave to play in major leagues.

After an accident at a game, Johnny was taken to surgery to treat a wound he had hidden. You found him in the hospital, sedated by painkillers, accompanied by Gibsie, his best friend, who took you to see him.

"She's mine," Johnny told Gibsie. "You can't have her."

Gibsie laughed out loud. "Everyone knows it, Cap."

Johnny turned his head, looking for his father. "Da?"

"Here I am," John assured him, squeezing his hand.

"She's the only one," Johnny murmured, looking into the darkness. "With perfect tits."

"Did you see her tits?" Gibsie asked.

    Johnny nodded. "Yes."

    "When?"

"When I played with my calculator," Johnny replied dreamily. "I love her, Gibs. A Lot."

"I know," Gibsie replied, patting him on the shoulder. "Bulldozer".

Johnny shrugged his shoulders. "And I don't regret it."

"Gerard, maybe you shouldn't bring her here," said Edel, Johnny's mother, worried. “He's high, he can say anything.”

"No, no," Johnny complained, visibly annoyed. "I want to see her."

"Johnny, honey, he can visit you when you are more aware."

    Johnny roared, shouting your name.

"Let the girl in, Edel," John said. "Or he's going to scream like a little boy."

"Oh, good!" Edel sighed. "But behave yourself, Jonathan."

    Some murmurs were heard.

And then, he heard those words.

    “Hi, Johnny.”

"Boom, boom, damn boom, Da," he moaned, taking a hand to his chest. "I'm lost."
