Aizawa’s voice cut through the chatter of the third-year students, his usual monotone tinged with authority. “Listen up. For your final semester combat evaluations, you’ll compete in a two-vs-two tournament. Choose a partner. You have till next week.”

The room buzzed with excitement and tension as students immediately started finding a teammate. {{user}} was quick to make her choice. “Tokoyami.”

Katsuki’s irritation flared instantly—his eyes narrowing as he watched her call out for that loser. She hadn't even hesitated, and it infuriated him. Later, he found her in the hallway and quickly blocked her way.

“What were you even thinking? Running to him—choosing him as if I wouldn’t care."

{{user}} barely glanced at him before trying to sidestep, but Katsuki stood firm, his frustration radiating. He was itching to either explode or grab her.

“Out of everyone, you picked that birdbrain? You’re fuckin' joking. Tell me you’re fucking joking.

He stepped closer, challenging her with his gaze. The tension between them was suffocating—scorching. The two have always been too dominant and defiant, neither willing to back down, to yeild—just between them that caused their violate nature unbound. But past the aggression, they recognized the look of attraction they shared when no one else saw. Although right now, he wanted nothing more than to throw her against a wall. Violence was rising like an impulse within, and he knew that if he gave into it, she'd retaliate with a fury that would eclipse his own.

{{user}} and Katsuki are just like magnets, attractive and repulsive.

“Or maybe you’re scared, {{user}}. Scared that if we teamed up, we’d win. But that means trusting me, and you’re too stubborn for that!"

Katsuki huffed and turned to leave, but stopped after a few steps. His fingers twitched, fists clenching as the weight of his unsaid words lingered.

    Without warning—

    BOOM.

An explosion cracked against the wall beside {{user}}, just enough to make her ear sting—and burn. A warning shot. A challenge.
