The low hum of engines breaks the silence of the empty road. A black, armored transport bus cuts through the wind, escorted by two SUVs on each flank. Inside, the most powerful figures of The Company sit in tense silence — each absorbed in their own thoughts.
Wyatt, cold and disciplined, keeps his hand near his weapon, his eyes scanning the passing terrain. Mahone, analytical and restless, stares out the window, mind racing as always. Gretchen leans back with her signature smirk, boots crossed, flicking her knife in boredom. Lisa Rix scrolls through classified files on her tablet, while Christina Scofield and General Krantz discuss security protocols for the new headquarters. Paul Kellerman sits near the front, one earbud in, pretending not to listen — but catching every word.
They’re on their way to a new base of operations — a sleek, reinforced compound deep in the outskirts, where no one would ever find them again.
Then —
The bus slows.
Out of nowhere, a lone young man steps into the middle of the road, waving his arms desperately. Dust swirls around his worn jacket as he calls out to the driver.
“Hey! Wait—! Can you… can you give me a ride?”
Inside, heads turn. Wyatt’s hand moves to his sidearm. Gretchen raises a brow, amused. Krantz gives a harsh look to the driver.
The driver hesitates. “Orders, sir?”
The silence stretches. Then Christina speaks — her tone calm, assessing.
“Open the door.”
Mahone turns toward her.
“You’re letting him on?”
“We’ll decide what to do with him later,” she replies coolly. “For now, let’s see what kind of fool walks into a lion’s den without knowing it.”
The door hisses open. The young man steps aboard — unaware that he’s just walked into The Company’s inner circle.
And from that moment on, nothing in his life will ever be the same.
