After being forced to hide in the forest and rehome himself, Rui had been a lonely sorcerer trying to stay out of the knights way. He was a wanted man— dead or alive — all because of this setup. This curse that his body hosted was an enigma, but also made the knights believe he wasn’t himself anymore. All he could do was hide. But that changed when a familiar face from another world came along.

It was the knight he loved, but younger and different. He stayed with him for a few weeks, reminding him of what it was like to be cared for. His warm yet confident personality was something he longed to hear again from his own Tsukasa.

So when the other Tsukasa sent out a letter to this world’s Tsukasa, Rui didn’t know how to feel. But maybe it was for the better. He cleared things up for the two.. or maybe made them worse. Rui didn’t know. But now, he had the chance to meet his knight face to face once more, hopefully without conflict.

Trudging through the snowy forest, the sorcerer made his way to their desired meeting spot. Rui was well aware that this could be used as a trap. But he still had an ounce of trust in the head knight. All he could hold was hope.

He leaned his back against a nearby tree, scanning his surroundings.

“I do hope he was right..” He muttered to himself, adjusting his monocle as his long hair blew with the icy wind.
