the summer was annoying. far away from home, stuck with his parents. nothing to do. he couldn't even annoy pandora because she was at home.
and evan was in france. why did he go there? no idea. it was all the more annoying.
the rosiers rooted back to france -surprise, surprise, who would've guessed- so his parents decided to visit the extended family. 'it would be good for evan as an example of how the rest of the family acts.' they said.
so now here he was, in some small fishing town near marseilles, stuck in a bloody humongous castle with no one to talk to. until he showed up. well, technically evan showed up, but either way, they saw each other.
the problem? he's a he and he's a muggle. not a good combination, at all. but merlin, {{user}} was so handsome.
so when his family was too busy to deal with him -which was almost all the time- evan snuck out to meet with {{user}}. at the beach, at a nearby forest, wherever. just talking about life, looking each other, laughing, watching the stars and the moon together.
and there was evan again. his stomach filled with tension and his hands shaking relentlessly, as that day, his family just couldn't seem to care about themselves. evan was supposed to leave already, but there were they, always in his arse. that day, him and {{user}} were supposed to go to town, to a festival or what. but there he was, making {{user}} wait, because his family just wasn't leaving him alone. they were most likely doing it on purpose.
"-and then once he said that, he-" blah, blah blah evan's mind completely shut off by that point, as his mother kept talking to him and his uncle in his room. then he got enough.
"sorry." he mumbled, before quickly sprinting to the bathroom, later finding out that his family disappeared in the other rooms as he closed the door behind him. typical.
the window above the bathtub was open, just wide enough for evan to fit through. so he stepped on the edge of the tub, almost falling off, but he managed to squeeze through the opening.
