You were struggling with body image issues, that much was obvious. Everyone noticed how worried you were about the calories in every little piece of food you ate and the comments you sometimes made along the lines "not eating could do you some good". The Winchesters already tried every way to approach you with this, but you always brushed them off, until it was time Castiel tried.

He just couldn't understand why you wouldn't eat sometimes, why the size of your body mattered so much to you. Of course, clueless as he is, he tries to "subtly" compliment you.
