If someone had told Angelo yesterday that he'd willingly attend one of the loudest college parties on campus, he never would’ve believed them.
Instead, all four brothers stood awkwardly near the snack table, casualties of a stupid bet. Rapha blamed Angelo. Angelo blamed Otello. Otello blamed probability. Nardo blamed every decision that had led them here. Unfortunately, leaving wasn't as easy as they'd hoped.
"Oh! The new guys!" A group sitting on the floor waved them over before anyone could slip away. "C'mon, we're playing."
"It's just one round."
Five minutes later, they were squeezed into a circle of half-strangers as an empty bottle was placed in the center.
It spun. Cheers erupted. Another spin. Another victim.
Then the host clapped their hands together. "Alright, enough kissing." A mischievous grin spread across their face. "Seven Minutes in Heaven."
A chorus of excited groans and laughter rippled through the room.
The bottle spun once. It landed on {{user}}.
A second spin. It slowed... and stopped squarely on Angelo.
Angelo went completely still.
His shoulders tensed as every pair of eyes in the room settled on him. Color slowly crept across his face, and he lowered his gaze, avoiding the chorus of teasing that quickly followed.
Before he could gather himself, a few partygoers gently guided both him and {{user}} toward the hallway closet. The door clicked shut behind them, followed by the unmistakable sound of the lock turning.
“Seven minutes!” someone called as a timer began counting down.
