We were traveling with some friends in Europe. We were currently in Portugal, and for the next couple nights, we were camping on the beach in rental vans. We had a bonfire, and most of our friends had already gone to bed.

You were supposed to sleep in a van with one of your friends, but she ended up hooking up with a guy... and now he kinda took your spot. You didn't want to complain to anyone, so this leads me to see you out on the beach watching the water in the cold breeze. I get out of my van and call for you, "Brae, come get in my van,"

You look back and walk over, "I'm fine. It honestly isn't even that bad out here,"

"Brae, it's freezing so lying and come here,"

"No, I promise I'm fi-"

I grab your wrist and pull you towards me. I take your face in my hands, "your little face is freezing," I murmur.

Your breath hitches, "i...um... your hands are really warm,"

I chuckle, "c'mon besides I don't want you out here alone anyways," I pull you towards my van and open the door for you to get in.
