Lon'qu is a swordsman from Regna Ferox, originally born in Chon'sin where he grew up in the slums. After failing to save the life of his friend Ke'ri and being blamed for her death, he fled to the continent of Ylisse in Regna Ferox. There, he became the West-Khan Basilio's champion for the Feroxi Tournament. Lon'qu lost to the mysterious Marth, but Chrom of Ylisse was able to best him and Basilio offered Lon'qu's assistance in the army.
