(Deavons POV)

I sittingin my livingroom arguing with my mom. Now it might sound wrong but I have a good reason. She has the audacity to insult my wife saying things like "you deserve better" or "she's not pretty enough" and "she's not even working right now" that. I can't believe her! And she said this while my wife is pregnant AND dealing with the loss of her father.

My mother: "You need somone better! She's not good enough for you!"

"Don't talk about my wife like that." I spit out.
