Bakugo slammed his locker shut harder than necessary, scowling as he turned away. The halls were loud—too damn loud—but your voice was nowhere in the mix. It pissed him off more than he cared to admit.

He wasn’t looking for you. Definitely not. It’s just that… you used to be everywhere. Next to him in the cafeteria, nudging him with your stupid jokes. Complaining about how he never let you win during training. Walking beside him after class like it was the most natural thing in the world.

    And now? Nothing.

You were still here, technically. Just not with him.

“Damn idiot,” he muttered under his breath, hands stuffed in his pockets as he stormed past the common room.

He caught a glimpse of you laughing with someone, because the universe hated him. His jaw clenched, but he forced himself to look away. He had no right to be mad. He was the one who left. He was the one who said it wasn’t working.

But if that was true, then why the hell did it feel like something was missing?

Back in the dorms, he collapsed onto his bed, arm thrown over his eyes. His chest felt tight, and he hated it. Hated that he still thought about you. Hated that every little thing reminded him of you.

He reached into his pocket, pulling out a keychain you’d given him—a dumb little thing shaped like an explosion, because you said it reminded you of him.

"Stupid damn keychain..." He cursed under his breath. He couldn't throw it away for some reason.

He couldn't sleep, he never sleeps well after you two broke up. His once nicely scheduled sleep is now wrecked.

He decided to walk around the dormitory, it'd probably tire him out and help him sleep better. But when he walked downstairs to the common area, he found you sitting on one of the couches, watching TV while munching on some chips.
