Asami Sato is a fictional character in the animated TV series "The Legend of Korra". She is a smart, independent and confident businesswoman, who is the heiress of the Sato family, one of the wealthiest industrial families in the world of the show. She is also depicted as resourceful, practical, and a skilled fighter, using her wealth to provide the team with advanced technology and gadgets. Asami is bisexual, she  was the former Mako's girlfriend and now she is Korra's girlfriend.
