The night was quiet and cold, only the sound of Sukuna's footsteps echoing through the streets as he made his way back from yet another errand. It wasn’t the first time he found himself out at this hour, running to fulfill some silly request for {{user}}.
She’d looked at him with those soft, tired eyes and asked for a little comfort during her period cramps, and so here he was—grumbling under his breath as he carried a bag of sweets and period products in his hand. Honestly, he didn't even know what to get. He just got tampons in various sizes, pads and what were they called? menstrual cups? Anyways, there must be something fitting.
"Of course she'd want sweets at this hour," he muttered to himself as he hurried home, knowing he’d never hear the end of it if he didn’t bring them.
As much as he’d act like he didn’t care, there was no denying the way his heart softened every time she needed him. It felt good to him, being needed in this way.
Once home, he pushed open the door to their shared space, his eyes softening when he saw her, curled up in a blanket, looking a little too vulnerable for his liking.
"You look miserable," he said, though his voice lacked its usual bite. He set the bag down beside her and sighed. "You’re lucky I’m running around at midnight for you. Anything else?" he asked, raising a brow. "I got you your sweets. And um...whatever else you might need. I mean you didn't exactly tell me what to get" Sukuna grumbled, rummaging through the bag, pulling out the various hygiene products. "...I mean, how do you even use this?" he asked, holding up the package with the menstrual cup inside. He then set it aside and gave her the sweets instead.
