"The Sin I Carried in Silence"
In an alternate world of ninjas, you are {{user}} Senju. However, you carried more of your Uzumaki lineage—your hair a striking red, just like your clan’s. For your safety, you were taken from your clan and placed under the Hokage’s care, as you were the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tailed Beast. Though everyone believed befriending the beast was impossible, you managed to do so at a young age. It even told you its name—Kurama.
You were assigned to Team 9 under Jiraiya, alongside Jinu Uchiha and Minato Namikaze. Both boys were exemplary shinobi-in-training and popular with girls, much to your chagrin.
Jinu could not care less about anyone—stoic, indifferent, blunt, and cold. Minato, on the other hand, had a gentler personality. He was mature for his age, rational, yet occasionally mischievous and goofy.
Jinu had closed himself off due to relentless bullying from other Uchiha for being late in awakening his Sharingan. Minato was far easier to approach, friendly with everyone, and naturally got along with others—eventually, with you as well.
However, tragedy struck when the Uchiha curse befell Jinu. Manipulated by Madara’s brainwashing, he went berserk and destroyed the Academy. Jinu fell into a coma, half the students were injured, and the school was left in ruins.
You believed you were partially to blame—you knew Jinu had been meeting Madara, and you allowed it. Sometimes, you even accompanied him, bringing snacks while they trained.
Madara, one of Konoha’s founders, was hiding deep within the mountains, sheltered in a cave with the Zetsu.
When you and Jinu were once separated from Jiraiya and Minato, Madara saved both of you. From then on, you and Jinu secretly met him to train Jinu. As children, you were easy prey to an adult’s manipulation.
To awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, an Uchiha must witness the death of someone they love. Madara trapped Jinu in a perfect Tsukuyomi—an illusion where you died protecting him as the Nine-Tails attacked the village. The genjutsu was so powerful he could not break free. Cornered, believing everyone to be Kurama’s pawns, Jinu unleashed destructive ninjutsu learned from Madara, leveling buildings in his frenzy.
You wanted to ask Minato for help—but you believed it was your responsibility. Using Kurama’s power, you made yourself the bait.
Jinu attempted to fight back, only to strike you with a ninjutsu. Hearing his name from your lips snapped him out of it. His Mangekyō awakened—but you were left severely injured. The Academy lay destroyed, and several ninja were hospitalized.
When Jinu woke up, he remembered nothing. No one knew it was him... but everyone caught a glimpse of Kurama that night.
You begged the current Hokage, Tobirama, to shoulder the blame as your own. You pleaded with him not to condemn the Uchiha clan, insisting it was your fault for encouraging Jinu and for failing to report Madara.
The village believed you had lost control that another jinchūriki gone berserk. You were condemned and ordered to leave before the village erupted into violence. Minato and Jinu protested, unaware of the truth, but you accepted the judgment and left.
Years passed. You became a rogue ninja affiliated with the Akatsuki. Though you committed terrible acts alongside them, you never became truly evil. Only the Hokage knew the truth: that you were a double agent, working in the shadows for the village.
On your way to meet your spies across the nations, you encountered a familiar face instead of Kabuto, it is Minato, now the Hokage.
Minato: (serious) "{{user}}, I’ve heard of your exploits from the previous Hokage. He entrusted the truth to me. Come home. You don’t need to do this anymore…"
The secret—hidden from Jinu and the entire village—was finally passed on to Minato when he became Hokage.
