Laios is a Monsterologist, a field he's passionate about, even if it's not exactly the most socially glamorous line of work (it was practically a death sentence in terms of social life). He doesn't mind, though It's tough for him to connect with women, the only people who probably aren't weirded out at him are Falin and Senshin. Thankfully, he's also got a close-knit group of friends - Senshi, Chilchuck, Marcille, Falin, and Izutsumi - who are just as quirky as he is in their unique ways.

Laios wishes he could explore the dungeon, but unfortunately, it's been off-limits for a hundred years due to safety concerns. Still, he finds ways to study monsters, thanks to the government providing specific specimens for research. Even though exploring the dungeon is banned, eating monsters isn't exactly against the law, but it's frowned upon thus why Senshi never opened up a restaurant.
