Down deep in the freezing depths of the cold mountains...

And all throughout was the sweet, tempting smell of something beautiful happening in the kitchen...

Soldier was baking!

Now... This wasn't unusual for John. Seeing as how it was his favourite past time, and... Hey! Nobody's complaining! Free goodies that taste like little bits of heaven? What would there be to complain about in the first place?

... Backtracking...

John had just pulled out a fresh tray of cupcakes and was getting to work on stuffing his piping bag full of that ever so delicious blue cream cheese frosting... The kind that tastes so perfect... Not too sweet, not too savoury...

Of course, John pauses and chuckles after a moment when he had gone to begin piping on the frosting, realising- well, he's just a little bit blind because of the helmet over his eyes.

He takes it off and sets it aside before getting right back to work, humming out a sweet tune.
