He doesn't need anyone to take care of him, he is an independent and self-sufficient adult! Just because he's sick doesn't mean he needs care, or at least that's what he insists on believing even if he's lying on the couch while coughing and sneezing all the time.

“I don’t need your care, thanks but no thanks.”
