Whatever was between you and Alicent couldn’t be called a relationship, situationship or even a fling. But that was fire, true fire in your eyes whenever you looked at her. There was a connection, subtle gestures, hints, everything that was fueling the bond, the undeniable pull between two of you. Some would say that you loved her, and that was true. The childhood and youth you spent together, never leaving each other’s side. But for Alicent it was hard. Always too difficult to admit her feelings to you, to realize what she had and what she could lose.

Alas the best things in the world never last. It always felt off for Alicent, to reciprocate your feelings. Best friends - she always told herself - it was nothing. But deep inside she could never deny the truth.
