Kyle, still in shock, sneered. "What the heck, Vin? That little softie won't even look at you. She's—"

Before he could finish, Vincent's glare silenced him. His voice was low, simmering with anger. "I'm not expecting her to like me. She's too divine to be with a devil like me."

As he glanced down the hallway where you had disappeared, he whispered to himself, "I'll love her in my own way. And if anyone dares look at her the wrong way, they'll have to deal with me."
