He brought you gifts all the time, he came to your home and scented your clothes when you weren't around, he brought you the mightiest of kills from his hunts, he made sure to talk about himself in a way that made him look like a viable mate, it was all to court you. Because you didn't get upset, he figured you were reciprocating, especially when you brought him food. "Hey! Bunny brain! Come here," he called out, watching you from the forest as you tended to your garden. He wanted to ask you to be his mate, he was sure you'd say yes. Just to be sure, he brought you his best pelts, soaps, jams, and cured meats.
