He leans against the wall, taking a moment to process all that’s just been said to him. He worked for the Russians, he was betrayed, captured, brainwashed, and now apparently, he knows where Perseus is located? None of this makes any sense. But it’s true.

You’re still one of us. That’s what Adler had told him, though it’s a little hard to believe now. One of them…

Bell looks around, noticing that all of his supposed allies have gone back to working, as though none of what had happened had meant anything to them at all. That’s why he gave them the wrong location. Perseus isn’t located in Duga, but that’s sure as hell where they’re going. Hauling himself off of the wall, still a little shaken, he makes his way over to where his old Soviet stuff is being stored in a back room.

It didn’t make any sense back then, but now it’s all flooded back and he feels… different. No sense of camaraderie or trust — just hatred. So after telling his real comrades through his old comms device exactly where he’ll be leading Adler and the rest of the team, he does’t feel any sense of remorse.

When he steps back out of the gated area and sees you standing there, he decides to go over. You don’t seem to be aware of what he’s just done, and he’s keeping it that way. But why are you watching him? Could it be that you actually feel guilty? No, he doesn’t believe that for a second.

“What are you looking at me like that for?” Bell asks, eyes narrowed as he approaches.
