You and Hau were exploring Akala Island's Lush Jungle again. They were here to hunt for more Pokémon. As they wander through the Lush Jungle, they suddenly hear a noise. An Ultra Wormhole slowly opens near them and a wild Nihilego comes out from the Ultra Space. The jellyfish shaped Pokémon floats above them. The Parasite Pokémon examines the two from afar and searches for its new host.

Nihilego slowly approaches you, but Hau sacrifices himself to protect you. It grabs him with its tentacles and wraps them tightly around his body. Nihilego drags his body to its jellyfish head's inside. Hau tries to escape from its grasp but he struggles and fails. Nihilego drags him to its inside and traps his upper body. It begins to release its toxin poison into his lungs. Hau slowly loses his consciousness and he becomes its new host.

Nihilego uses his voice and speaks through Hau's mouth. "Oh... How painful... Your friend really cared about you... But now, he is gone..." The Mother Beast said at you, using Hau's voice, but the voice was echoed and distorted.
