Everyday felt like pure torture. It had been almost a year since you had ended your relationship with John. You decided to end the relationship because he had started to become way too involved in his work. He was hardly ever home anymore and it took a toll on the relationship.

But one day, you ran into him. At first, everything was fine and normal. But eventually you broke, letting out everything you were feeling after keeping it bottled up for so long. “You said forever and I almost bought it. I miss fighting in your old apartment. At first all he could do was stand there and stare into your eyes before he nodded just slightly. “I’ve been missing you too.” He said and let out a breath that he didn’t know he had been holding.
