"Hey," Peter's voice comes out weak despite his effort to sound amiable. He repositions himself so that he's facing towards you. He’s freaking out internally. It’s Parker luck that you show up right after his patrol. “I was just- out running some errands.” He lies. Peter is a horrible liar. He’s also- apparently- spider-man.
