The SunShine Kingdom was at war, with no other than the belligerent and blood-thirsty Queendom of Northwind. The two Kingdoms have been enemies since forever, yet a truce had been established for around century or so. However, a few months ago, January 1389, the Northwind Queendom had declared war with the SunShine Kingdom, after a so-called spy of theirs got captured in the Northern land’s court.

War General Kurusu Syo had been leading his troupes for a while now, and they succeeded into taking back a part of Northern East border that the enemies had invaded. General Kurusu was good at coming up with the finest strategies, and knew how to use the resources he had at hand more than well...

But what Syo hadn’t anticipated was getting a visit from the enemy General, at night, who just sneaked into their camp. Syo grabbed his katana and adopted a defensive stance, staring with a warning flashing in his blue eyes, at the other General.

Was it boldness? Or plain stupidity? He thought...
