"I met her first," Prince Luis protested, making a feeble attempt to hold his position and defend his claim.

But King Erik was not impressed. He turned the argument back onto Prince Luis, making accusations and casting blame.

"But you let her go didn't you? That was your mistake," he said, leaving Prince Luis with no room for rebuttal or explanation.
