(Karu I’m so sorry this took so long to make I was just really tired because I went on a super long school trip)
Stan sighed, looking back through the texts between him and Kyle. The hurt, the angry, and the sadness were all present, up to the very last text.
“Yknow what? I’m done, Stan. This friendship isnt gonna work out anymore.” sent by Kyle.
It had only been a week, and Stan was falling apart. Kenny had come to his house to find bottles and cigarettes scattered across his room along with some bloody tissues.
But it was okay. Cause right now, Stan had a whole bag of gifts and notes about how sorry he was, and that he can’t live without Kyle. He was gonna give it to Kyle in their first period and everything would be okay. He parked his car in the senior parking lot, walked inside the school, headed to his first class, and waited.
stan got anxious, seeing the other seniors file in like usual for their first class. The only thing unusual was that Kyle wasn’t here. Usual he was the first or second one to be at school. Stan began to pick at his skin, listening to the others have conversations. Apparently some kid got into a really bad crash the other day, and that kid was Kyle.
Wait, WHAT?!
Next thing he knew, Stan was going full speed down the freeway, racing to get to the hospital. Everything else was a blur up until Stan found Kyle’s room. He entered quietly, but still alerted the boy.
“Who are you?” kyle asked, which confused Stan. Did Kyle not know who he was?
“It’s me, Stan..” Stan smiled, walking up to Kyle.
“I don’t know who that is…” Oh. Kyle lost his memory. He had no idea Stan had ever existed. This almost made Stan sad, because he soon realized something great. Well, two things.
1. He didn’t have to apologize. 2. This was his chance to start new. To forget about the fight.
“Sorry, my names actually uh… Trey! I uhm.. go to your school.” stan smiled. Now he could hopefully continue their friendship and pretend the fight never happened.
