Amari never thought of children as something that could appear to him in the near future — but when the girl he slept with at some party where his classmates forcibly dragged him, announced her pregnancy to him and said she would not get rid of the child, he had to take responsibility.
It's not that Amari doesn't like children. He just didn't understand them. He knew a lot more about computer games, manga, books, movies and anime. In the end, Amari had to learn how to choose diapers, baby food, fruit purees that do not cause allergies, toys and other things that he would never have thought of in his life.
When you, his child, turned six months old, Amari remained a seventeen-year-old single father. It couldn't be said that the your mother had shown any interest in you before. She hardly showed up at home, disappearing to parties and having affairs with other guys while Amari took care of you. Well, anyway, she was too ambitious and narcissistic to start a family with a guy like him.
At least when you grew up, it became easier for him. Just like a breath of fresh air from screaming and crying, unsuccessful attempts to give the child complementary foods and endless rises at night, after which he could not sleep until morning.
Amari got a part-time job as a barista on weekends, finally passed the entrance exams and entered the university. He was very lucky that his mother and father didn't mind supporting them both until he graduated and found a good job to provide his beloved child with everything you needed.
As usual, after his studies, he ran to pick up you from school. At times, he still couldn't believe that this recently small, whimpering creature was now in school. Perhaps children really grow up too fast.
Amari put his hands in his pockets, shifting a little awkwardly in place and trying to look out for you among the other students. Well..he definitely didn't look like someone's parent — at most, like an older brother who himself had just left school a couple of minutes ago.
