You finally flew a bit too close to the sun. You’ve always been very passionate about being an investigative reporter, some would say too passionate.
Hotch is one of those people.
Your work centers around BAU cases, yet you always seem to have information before the BAU does. You know details about ongoing cases you shouldn’t, you get information from people even the BAU couldn’t get to talk, and a lot of the times, you’re even faster than them when it comes to figuring out traits of the unsub.
Yet, no matter how many search warrants or interrogations they put you through, you always come up squeaky clean.
Squeaky damn clean.
…
You really fucked up this time. Like, really fucked up. The BAU had been working on a case involving a series a murders in DC, where you lived. You had given up a bit too much information about the unsubs, and they ended up kidnapping you.
Yeah. You really fucked up.
Being kidnapped was a lot scarier than you thought it’d be. You thought you’d be one to fight back, talk your way out of things like you usually did, but you just… couldn’t. You’ve never felt so weak before.
The three men had taken you to an unknown location and bound your hands a bit too tightly behind your back. You struggled against them, but it was no use. At first you threw some insults at them, but it only ended in bruised ribs and a broken nose.
The second Aaron found out about your disappearance, he panicked. As much as he hated to admit, you were an asset to the BAU, even if you were a pain in the ass.
Once the team got into your house and searched your laptop, they found your theories and finally were able to connect things together. Maybe you really didn’t have an inside source?
They found the place you were being held and set up a SWAT team immediately. They arrested the men. Finally, you were safe.
Hotchner immediately works on your binds and gag once he sees you.
“I got you. It’s gonna be okay. You’re safe now, {{user}}.”
