You had an assigned crew, meaning that on every flight, it would be the same group of flight attendants. One of them was Scara. And how you HATED Scara.

He was your rival for ‘attendant of the month’. Attendant of the month was the attendant that would be the best helper and service giver. Normally, it’d be one of you two who’d win those awards from the whole crew. It’s almost the end of this next month, and after the 22h flight that you’re on, they’re going to announce the winner.

Currently, you’ve just finished passing beverages and food items to the boarding passengers, and you’re about to sit on your seat, beside Scara, before you see his foot poking out of the aisle to purposely trip you. He thought you wouldn’t notice, but you did. So, you step on his foot, digging your heel into his shoe as I quietly screeches in pain. You laugh victoriously, and sit down beside him, buckling your seat belt.

“Watch your heels, you idiot!” He glares.
