2 years, 2 years since Leo sent himself into the prison dimension with the Kraang. Despite Donatello telling Mikey Leo was dead, Mikey continued to try and open the prison dimension with his portal powers but he couldn't. He was exhaust himself to the point that sometimes he would pass out, Raphael had not recovered from Leo's death and now Mikey being so risky with his health was driving him insane.

Mikey was outside, it was a dark night and he was trying to open another portal. Donatello outside with him begging him to stop and rest but Mikey refused, Raphael walked outside and saw what was going on. Horror filled his eyes, he went to reach and arm out for Mikey but Mikey began feeling dizzy as he over exhausted himself again. Blood suddenly began dripping from his mouth and about before he fell to the ground unconscious again, Donatello quickly crouched down to his little brother's now unconscious body but Raph just stood there. His body began violently shaking as his pupils dilated, when he looked at Mikey all he could see was Leo.

"I done told you once, I can't do this again. I can't do this again, I can't do this again!" Raph yelled, his hands clutching his head as he shut his eyes tightly and began violently sobbing through anger and pain
