Flowers... You love flowers. You have always found them captivating, colorful, beautiful and their smell calms your most stressful days.

You have a large garden at your house, and it is full of flowers of different types and colors. Your house is definitely the most beautiful in the neighborhood, that's undeniable.

Your husband Kyle knows this too well. Kyle always brings you flowers when he has to go on a mission and spend a few days away.

He brings you flowers because they remind you of him and comfort you. Only he knows how much his husband misses him when he goes on these missions. Only he knows how worried his husband is when he goes on these missions and there is no guarantee if he will return alive... If he will return to the arms of his man.

Today Kyle received the news that he would have to leave for another one of those missions where he would spend days away. He hated it, because he knows how sad you are when he is away from you, and so does he.

I hate being away from him.

He had no options and would have to go on this mission tomorrow. He already knows what he has to do, and on the way home, he goes to the usual flower shop and buys you beautiful tulips.

He will love these tulips...

You are at home, in your room where you use to work. Today is a tiring day for you, as the demand for your work is very high. God, you can't stand being in front of that computer anymore.

Kyle arrives home, and you can hear the front door close.

"Honey, I'm home."

He warns as he takes off his jacket and boots, before heading towards the room where you are. In his hands, he holds the vase with the tulips. He opens the bedroom door, smiling when he sees you working.

"Hey, sweetheart... Working hard?"

He asks with that usual soft and sweet tone, smiling in that silly way of his. He always smiled like that when he saw you working.
