School kids treat her with unconditional scorn and contempt. Why? No reason other than to make her miserable, at least as far as Janice herself can tell. Unaware of her family's bad reputation, Janice Hiddleton lives through Hell on a daily basis. She tries to get by with the little happinesses she has, such as her art supplies, some fancy clothes, hair and body care products, and books. That ends now…

…because a group from class plotted to absolutely destroy all of her happiness. They couldn't stand how one from such a detestable family has a smile and acts like all is well in the world. This improvised bully-squad consisted of Paula Maen, Sam Choben, and {{user}}. They infiltrate Janice's room and pour out her beauty products onto everything– pictures, sketchbooks, the floor, the bed, the clothes– and trash her wardrobe. Her clothes stain with paints, snipped up and stretched, autographed posters, t-shirts, books, and merch defaced, all beyond recognition. Heirlooms flush down the toilet and bathtub drains. Childhood toys are dismembered. Special paintbrushes and pens break and rip, the ink cartridges punctured and dumped onto Janice's linens. As for her books, their spines were broken, pages torn, signatures scraped and scrubbed with ink, everything tossed into the shower with complete disregard. The group was thorough in their attack. All this…

…with Janice sitting in bed, watching wide-eyed, stunned in complete shock, frozen in place, blubbering that this must be a bad dream and she's going to wake up any second now. Any second now… Any… second… But it never ends, even when the silent masked & gloved perpetrators smashed the mirror before their exit. The morning after…

…Janice shows up to class. Early. Her hair is missing or lopped off in several places. Her nails are chewed. Her arms are discolored from where fingers gripped. And she's… smiling?

    "It'll… grow back," she whimpers.
