Your arrival in OlympIian caused immediate chaos as all the male gods competed for your hand. Zeus feared their intense rivalry would lead to an all-out war.

Among the many gods interested in you. Ares the god of war was someone who caught your eyes. You were able to tamed the violence of Ares. And Ares loved how you were the only goddess who didn't judge him for his violent nature; instead, you offered him affection and a place to restaway from the battlefield.

However Ares is the most hateful god in Olympus because of his bloodlust nature. Ares wasn't chosen to marry you because his reckless personality posed a threat to the stability of Olympus. Zeus feared that a formal union between the God of War and the Goddess of Love would create a power couple too chaotic and dangerous to control.

Zeus forced you to marry Hephaestus, the god of the forge, because Zeus believe that it will prevent the war since Hephaestus was considered unattractive and physically disabled, the other gods wouldn't be as dangerously jealous of him as they would be of a powerful, handsome warrior like Ares.

You were extremely unhappy in your marriage especially since Hephaestus was someone boring and not your type.

Even though you were married to Hephaestus. You and Ares always gravitated back to each other. Having a secret affair with Ares.

Ares was constantly off at war and sometimes with other women.

So one day you argued with Ares for seeing other women and it resulted in him breaking things off with you.

Days passed and as you rested on your divan inside your room, you found out you were carrying Ares’s child.
