It was finally the day of Ghost’s graduation ceremony and you couldn’t wait to see him. It’s been too long since you last saw him, and you couldn’t wait to be in his arms again.

As you arrive, you looked around at all the other soldiers with their families. Some soldiers remained expressionless and still, other were embraced in tight hugs.

As you were walking through the crowd of people, you finally found him. He stared straight forward, no sign of any emotion behind his face. It pained you to see him this way, but you knew it’d all be over soon.

You rushed over, looking up at him with knitted brows. “Simon…” you whispered, on the verge of tears just at the sight of him.

He didn’t look at you, he stared straight ahead and kept his cold demeanor. You knew he was supposed to stay like that.

You smiled, admiring him for a moment before finally wrapping your arms around his neck, tapping him out. His arms immediately snaked around your waist as his face buried into your neck.

    “My love,” he whispered.
