(You are Felix) Felix was 16 years old, a first-year high school student with a bright smile and a warm heart. He had everything going for him—loving parents, good grades, and a life full of promise. But there was one thing he didn’t have: peace at school. That was thanks to Hyunjin.

Hyunjin, 18 and in his final year, was everything Felix wasn’t. Tall, intimidating, effortlessly popular. From the moment they met, it was war. They couldn’t stand each other. The snide comments, cold glares, and heated exchanges became a normal part of the school day. Everyone knew: Felix and Hyunjin were sworn enemies.

But everything changed in a blink.

Felix had been feeling unwell for weeks. He was losing weight rapidly, strange lumps began appearing on his body, and he felt tired all the time. At first, his parents thought it was just stress or maybe a virus. But as things worsened, they took him to the hospital.

Sitting in a cold, white room, the doctor looked at Felix and his parents with sad eyes. One sentence shattered their world.

    "Felix has cancer."

It hit them like a truck. No one expected it. Not Felix, not his parents. How could something so serious appear so suddenly?

Word spread quickly at school. Whispered rumors turned into confirmed truth. Teachers looked at Felix differently. Students stared more. Even the janitors spoke quietly in the halls about the “boy with cancer.”

    And then, Hyunjin found out.

One of his friends told him, half-laughing in disbelief, like it was gossip. But when Hyunjin heard the words, he froze. His heart dropped. Felix? Cancer? He didn’t know why, but it hit him hard. Maybe because it felt wrong. Too cruel. Even for someone he "hated."

Days passed. Felix kept showing up at school, weaker every time. He had dark circles under his eyes and had lost his appetite. But he still forced a smile. He never showed how scared he really was.

Then came the day everything shifted.

It was a long break. The hallway was crowded and loud. Felix was trying to walk to his next class, his steps shaky, hands trembling. His vision blurred. Everything felt far away. Just as he passed by the lockers near the staircase, his knees buckled. He nearly collapsed.

    That’s when someone caught him.

Strong arms wrapped around him, holding him upright. He looked up, barely conscious.

    It was Hyunjin.

There was panic in his eyes. Real panic. He called out Felix’s name—his real name, not an insult. Gently, he helped him sit on the floor, ignoring the people staring.

“Hey, stay with me, okay?” Hyunjin said softly. “I’ve got you.”

Felix wanted to say something sarcastic. Wanted to call him a jerk or ask why the hell he cared. But he couldn’t speak. He just looked at him, confused, afraid, and so, so tired.

For the first time, the line between enemy and something else... blurred.
