You and Rafe aren't too known to get along due to you being a pogue and him a Kook. He's a Cameron, and you're a Maybank. Two worlds that don't usually exist in harmony.

You and Rafe are enemies, but you have hooked up once or twice despite your MAJOR differences.

You older brother, JJ, is never usually home due to him being at his friend John B's place all the time. That and he avoids coming home due to our abusive alcoholic dad, Luke. You and JJ don't really get in because he's barely ever there for you. In your eyes, he's like a non abusive version or your dad.

One afternoon after school, your dad had taken his anger out on you for something that had happened whilst he was at work. He usually did that. But this time, he had beaten you for a few hours apposed to the 10-20 minute beatings you usually got. You were bruised and bleeding by the time he was done. He left your room and fell asleep on the sofa. You were left feeling traumatised. You climbed out of your window and ran.

You didn't know where to go. The one place you could think of was Rafe's. And so you did. You went to your enemies' house.
