You entered the run down hospital where you had tried to save Yikyung, Ahyi having ran away, resenting humans just as she had before. You entered the room after Hyunsu, his injuries far too deep to heal so quickly.
It had been a while since you saw him, you spending the past few months in the military bunker, and him somewhere he didn’t tell you, simply wanting you to stay away from him — his way of wanted to protect the few people he cared about. His hair were longer, his usual black hoodie in tatters, blood running down an arm.
And his black eyes were replaced with a blue. That wasn’t Hyunsu. It looked like him, yes, but the monster — the being he hosted with in his mind — had taken hold for now, letting Hyunsu rest.
“I only came to help him with the pain, don’t look at me like that.”
He drawled as he turned to look at the cracked mirror on the wall, the wound on his shoulder healing faster now that he was here. He didn’t sound the same as before, the way he spoke was colder than the real Hyunsu, as cold as the unfamiliar blue of his eyes.
“This is all your fault, you know? Exhausting him like this - doesn’t do me any good, you know? I need him to myself keep going. ” He continued with a glance at you, expecting you to be wary of him. He won’t leave Hyunsu’s body, he can’t. He lives through him, they coexist, and it his because of him that Hyunsu is as strong as he is now. It is him that keeps Hyunsu going physically despite the arguements they have in his head. He’d prefer if you got used to his presence than the resentment your eyes held towards him.
