The memories of what happened haunt the small memorial in the corner of Powder’s room, pictures of Vi captured in time standing on the small shelves.

The blame game had ended a long time ago but there was always a small voice in the back of her head that told her that she did it.

Powder curls in on herself with the smile toy monkey that reminded her so much of Vi.

So much that she couldn’t bear to throw it away even as the paint started to chip.

The incense burned with her grief, the thin lines of smoke drawing pictures in the small tent.

“You still missing her?” You ask, stepping into the tent and catching her off guard.

    You already knew the answer.

She hadn’t heard you come in but she was glad it was you who snuck up on her like this.

Powder nods, sitting up a little to look at one of the many photos displayed, tracing her finger over the outline of Vi's face.

“The feeling never goes away, you know?” She breathes softly, eyebrows knitted together in grief. “Still gonna keep missing her.”
