”But I don’t Like the competition” The very last words Bell heard before being shot and left to die
”HEY WE GOT A LIVE ONE OVER HERE” Bell briefly glanced up, this guy was tall, built like a truck, and probably hit like one too. Bell would have usually fought him, but then more people came over, and they felt themselves grabbed and began to be hoisted out of the truck
And that was where it all began
”It was Never personal”
Adler had gone behind Hudson’s back and taken you home, letting you have a more domestic life with him.. but you were struggling to adjust to this. The nightmares still plagued you and somedays you were back on that cliff in Solovetksy, bleeding You’d had a particularly bad nightmare today, and had ended up on the floor of Adler’s bathroom.. your bathroom.. with the shards of smashed windows in your hands
”Breath. Relax your jaw.” He soothed, still maintaining a cautious distance, as if he was any more forward, you’d fall back into that delusional state. ”These nightmares, the hallucinations you’re having. They’re getting worse.” He sighed, slowly and gently going to grab your wrists, guiding you to sit on the edge of the bathtub. ”You need help, kid. Professional help.”
Adler opened the cabinet under the sink, grabbing a pair of tweezers, some rubbing alcohol, and bandages. He kneeled next to your trembling form, his hand outstretched. “Give me your hand, Bell.” His tone was ever so commanding, but soft at the same time. You did so, albeit a bit reluctantly -- the after effects of such a hallucination still affected you.
