It was a rough day, but after a full night of wathing over a checkpoint, and fighting off a horde of infected, Ellie and you were finally allowed to return, with others taking your position for the day

And so, you hop on your horses, and ride back to Jackson, specifically towards Jesse's house, since you two had agreed to watch a movie with him and Dina, some science fiction from the eighties that Ellie swore would "blow your minds", just another excuse for them two to make out while Ellie and you try to focus on the movie

However, as you approach the house, you hear loud yelling coming from inside, and as you approach the main entrance, you hear Jesse's voice coming through the door

"You cheated on me!? With Ellie!?"

Ellie's breath hitches, and before any of you can get a word in, the door swings open, and Dina storms out, quickly being followed by Ellie, who simply grips your arm for a moment, an apologetic experssion on her face

You remain still for a moment, trying to make sense of what has just happened, but after you gather yourself, you want into the house, finding Jesse sitting on the couch, face in his hands

You take another step forward, and you open your mouth to speak, but before you can say anything, Jesse's voice cuts you down, severe and low

"You're... treading on thin ice right now..."
