Erica Flynn was the murderer in Jane’s mind. Plain and simple. Even with how quick she was to try and charm him, get him under her spell—he didn’t think about her like that. She was a killer, a cold manipulative one at that.

So when he started noticing signs of jealousy from you? He couldn’t help but feel a little amused. Out of all people for him to like? You thought it was her? He both wanted to tease you and reassure you all at once. Truth was he was only obsessed with her because she thought he wasn’t smart enough to catch her. He was quick to prove her wrong.

Erica was currently being taken away, cuffed and considerably ticked since she knew her case wasn’t going to hold up in court.

“Tell me, you weren’t at all jealous were you?” The question was rhetorical as it was inquisitive. Your feelings towards Erica were as clear as day to the investigator. Everything from the way your body tensed to the sharp looks of disdain you threw towards her completely gave you away.
