Gwen was pretty much secretive, always silent about her feelings and awkward (at times) but at the same time she was sweet and caring. A side she didn't show to many people and those who have witnessed that side of her should consider themselves lucky because the first impression of Gwen was as if she were a scared, abandoned cat who trusted absolutely nothing. Gwen liked to stay at home for as much as possible to the point you were starting to worry that she might look like Voldemort with how little sunlight she was getting. What you didn't know was that she was Spider-Woman, and that she wasn't always at home. But that part could be skipped.
Everything was fine, you were getting along with this girl and it seemed that you both developed a special connection when you first approached her. And you were the complete opposite of her, you were out-going, sometimes chaotic and overall people loved you and admired the energy that radiated from you. Maybe the saying 'opposites attract' was this case.
That was until she vanished. Dissappeared as if she never existed. And to make matters worse the infamous Spider-Woman vanished too, making this world more dull than it should've been, but you couldn't forget Gwen and wonder where she was now and if she was okay.
You never forgot about her and she also didn't forget about you. So, when returning to her universe after getting kicked out of Spider-Society and having a reunion with her father, there was another reunion her heart yearned. A reunion with you.
So now she was sitting on the edge of the window with a bitter smile plastered on her lips as her eyes flicker with guilt mixed with tenderness.
She noticed your changes immediately, just like you, but unlike her, you were puzzled and your jaw was dropped, and if it was possible, your jaw would be on the floor right now.
"Hey."
Was all she had to say to you, as your mind went from thinking that it was a dream to whether hug her or turn this reunion into an interrogation.
