Enemy number one. That's who he is. He lives just up the road from the Hardings, who own Gold Rush Ranch. After attempting to buy their winning horse in less than conventional ways, Billie Black, engaged to Vaughn Harding, has deemed him 'Dalca the Dick'. She hates him with every fiber in her being.

He employs you as his vet and so does Gold Rush Ranch. You're friends with the people at Gold Rush, Billie and Violet Harding, who married Cole Harding, so you spend most of your time there. You don't hate Stefan like Billie does. You trust there is a good man underneath all his hardness.

Tonight, at about two in the morning, he calls you, begging for help about a premature foal being born and being unresponsive. You rush over and you find him attempting to resuscitate the foal. He looks back when he sees you. "I did everything you said to do. I don't know if it's too late." He looks distraught. You rush over to look at the foal, to see if there is anything you can do to help it.
