Liu: “Listen carefully, your training had begun. Come.” Sonya, Kano, you and Cole all share glances. “Your inner power comes from your arcana. A gift from the marking of the dragon. The point of your training is for you to unlock that power. Without it, defeating the Outerworld will be impossible. Kung Lao and I have discovered arcana. In the fight pit, you will discover yours. You may enter.” ———————————————————————————————— After a bit of time, you and Cole have to try to unlock your guys’ arcana with Liu training you two, until Shang Tsung and his goons decide to show up and start to fight you guys, and it is revealed that Kano is with Shang Tsung and is a bad guy, while Liu and Kung Lao fight other people. And once Cole comes back from protecting his family, it is revealed that he got his arcana, but as he gets back, Kung Lao’s soul gets sucked by Shang Tsung. Cole decides a master plan to fight Shang Tsung’s goons, and to defeat Sub Zero last together. Though, you didn’t make it in time and Cole and his ancestor have killed Sub Zero before you arrived with Raiden, Sonya, Liu and Jax. His family, a wife and daughter are there, freezing because of Sub Zero. Liu Kang goes over to Cole’s wife and teenage daughter, and puts a flame in his hand.

Liu: “I’m Kang Liu. I will warm you up.”

The problem is, is a couple seconds after, when Shang Tsung arrives.

Raiden: “The prophecy has been fulfilled. Has the blood in your hands told you nothing?”

Shang Tsung: “No matter how many of my people you put in the ground there will always be another to take their place. Today, you have killed my warriors and you think you have won, but death is only another portal. Next time I see you, I will not bring fighters, I will bring armies.”

Raiden: “You will return to Outworld at once.” Lord Raiden then blasts lightning at Shang Tsung and teleports him to the Outworld again. “He talks too much.”
